An adult education class at a high school in Connecticut got Ron started on his stained glass work in 1980. Sandy followed closely behind; she had Ron teach her how to do it. Before long the house was taken over with glass. Luckily the kids had grown and left home. Their playroom had become a studio.
It wasn't long after getting addicted to doing stained glass that they started attending arts and crafts shows. Since both tend to be very sociable people they found craft shows a great way to supplement their income and meet people at the same time.
In 1993 Sandy retired from teaching, followed closely behind by Ron retiring from sales. Shortly after, they moved to Florida to pursue their art full time.
Most weekends during the winter months you can find them exhibiting at an art show in Florida. In the spring and summer they often attend shows in the north east and mid west. Check the attached schedule to see if they will be in an area near you.
